CHANCELLORS TENNIS
Chancellors is a world class tennis facility, has been rated one of the
top 10 by Tennis Magazine some years ago. Our c lub offers a warm
welcoming family atmosphere to adults and children alike. We have 9
indoor courts and 8 outdoor courts with 2 indoor and 2 outdoor practice
walls, and 2 ball machines for indoor use. Our courts have a Lakold
surface and play medium fast. Our indoor courts use the Devoe LBS
lighting system, “no shadow, no glare”, which is considered one of the
best in the world.

Indoor and outdoor tennis courts may be reserved up to 3 days in
advance, starting at 8 am (e.g. On Monday you can reserve a
court for Thursday). Only tennis members may reserve a tennis
court. Court reservations are limited 1 1/2 hour blocks (longer
blocks may be allowed based on availability).
TENNIS LESSONS
Lessons are available individually or as a group for Tennis Members. Rates
vary for ea ch Pro, $54 and up, so please check with your Pro or contact Chris Bovett for prices and/or to schedule a lesson.
Note:
Rates do not always include court fee or guest fees, so please ask your Pro. Each Pro also hosts camps, drills, and clinics at various times during the year and Summer Tennis Camp is available for the children. All adult tennis members will receive a free NTRP rating when joining the club. This rating will determine each player’s level on a scale of 1.0 to 5.0. Please feel free to ask any of the Pros for advice or help.
LEAGUES
Currently Houston Ladies Tennis Association (HLTA) league meets at Chancellors. HLTA plays Women’s Doubles on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. HLTA is grouped and organized based on the players’ letter grade rating (A1, A2, Champs, Super Champs). For information about joining this league, please contact Chris Bovett.
YOUTH TENNIS PROGRAMS

All Stars is a junior development program
for advanced junior tennis players.
Players enrolling in All Stars must meet one of the following
qualifications:

Has
accumulated 12 or more ZAT points in an age group in 2010.

Currently or previously rated Championship in Texas.

Currently or previously rated Super Championship in Texas.

TENNIS STARS
Spring 2010

Tennis Stars is a program that teaches beginner to intermediate
tennis in a group setting to children ages 5-17 years old. Tennis Stars Program is under the direction of Claude Panzeri.
Minimum 4 and maximum 8
students per class.

Scholarships available for Youth Tennis Programs including
Summer Camp.
